The history of our Functional Raw Materials Division dates back to the late 40's when we resumed international connections interrupted during the long parenthesis of the war.
In 1949 we got the first of a long series of agencies, which were originally concentrated in Northern Europe and later on grown in other areas as well.

Throughout the years, always working in close and trustful co-operation with our Suppliers, we introduced on the Italian market several products, at that time still unknown, whose consumption is nowadays rather generalised and whose offer is today pretty much extended.

Actually SAVINI often worked to introduce new products or new concepts or to explore new markets and the results have often been positive and flattering.

Today SAVINI keep operating as agents or distributors for leading foreign suppliers and is active particularly in the following industrial segments:
1. THE FOOD INDUSTRY with specific ingredients specially for :
  - BAKERY PRODUCTS (either sweet and salted)
  - BAKERY AUXILIARIES
  - PASTRY AUXILIARIES
  - FLOUR MILLS
  - ICE CREAM
  - CHOCOLATE, CONFECTIONERY AND FILLINGS
2. THE DIETETIC INDUSTRY
3. THE COSMETIC INDUSTRY

We have inside the company a qualified and enthusiastic technical and commercial staff and we work in close cooperation with our Suppliers. We are therefore in the position to give comprehensive answers to the different enquiries that we receive from the various segments we are active in.
